Day 5: Yoga for Hip Strength & Relief
Welcome to Day 5 of Your 7-Day Yoga Journey! Today’s session focuses on strengthening and stretching the hips—an area where we often hold stress, anxiety, and tightness. This practice is designed to enhance mobility, release tension, and promote more freedom of movement in the lower body.
We’ll move through poses like lizard pose to open the hips deeply, warrior 2 and humble warrior for grounding and strength, and skandasana (side lunge) for lateral flexibility. Wide-legged forward folds, malasana (yogi squat), and butterfly pose will help you release tension and improve hip mobility. Each movement is guided by your breath, allowing you to connect with your body and feel more at ease.
These practices are a perfect complement to your therapeutic journey. Use them alongside the live therapy sessions and online tools to deepen your progress and support your well-being.
