Self-discovery has become my journey and passion in life, and it’s through counselling that I hope to provide the most support to others on the quest for self-knowledge. I believe we only find peace and develop the capacity to work through mental health issues (like anxiety or depression) when we can better understand our relationship with our emotions and ourselves. I see this unfinished business as the a central wound that undermines our wellness in life, and it's also is the main issue that interferes in our relationships with others.

In 2016 I obtained a Masters of Education (Counselling Psychology), and prior to this I obtained an undergraduate degree in Addictions Counselling. In all I have been in the counselling field for 12 years.

In my practice with clients, I like to bring elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to my work, as well as mindfulness and Somatic based therapy. However, one of the most important elements for me in my practice is providing a space for unconditional acceptance and positive regard for the people I work with. Without the ability to hold empathic space, therapy would not be helpful.
