Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me and my approach to therapy. My approach to therapy is to create the space for change to happen. When I say create the space, I mean focusing on creating a trusting therapist client relationship, where you feel you can show up as your most authentic self without fear of judgement. I like to take time to establish rapport and really learn how you experience being you. I use what is called a person-centered approach which holds the belief you are the expert on you. While I may act as a guide to help you reach your goals, you are in control. In addition to person-centered therapy, I like to pull from cognitive behavioral therapy and other modalities to help you deepen your understanding about yourself and how our beliefs and experiences inform our emotions. I have been working as a therapist since 2017 prior to that I was in the human services field providing case management to individuals experiencing chronic illness. I began proving telehealth therapy in 2020.
