Sepideh Pourhassani

I’m a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service provider designation in the state of Tennessee. I graduated with my masters in 2015 and I have been practicing for 7 years now, with 3 of those years being licensed. I have experience in many settings including individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. I have worked with children, families, addiction, and adults both in person and virtually. My experience ranges from behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, ocd, trauma, life changes and much more.

I enjoy the opportunity to walk alongside clients in their journey of growth and acceptance. I believe clients are the expert of themselves and their own lives. However, that being said, I also like to give the extra push that clients need sometimes to help them cultivate the change and growth. I’m not one to shy away from gentle confrontation and I also bring humor and fun into the sessions. Therapy can be tough work and sometimes it’s nice to enjoy the little things and have fun while working on ourselves too.
