Nakeeshia Greene

Nakeeshia Greene is a Licensed Clinical Social who received her master social work from Millersville university as well as a master public administration from Kutztown University. Nakeeshia has worked in community mental health settings, school social work, acute care hospitals, inpatient psychiatric facilities, child and family agencies, community health, mental health advocacy organizations. Nakeeshia’s approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Nakeeshia’s clients include children, adolescents, families and adults. She has extensive training in treating childhood trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which includes TF-CBT, evidence-based treatment modalities. Nakeeshia is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. She continues to seek ongoing updates to her skills and knowledge base. Nakeeshia is invested in an approach emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health. She is particularly concerned with the impact of trauma and improving interventions to support trauma recovery for better emotional, physical, and relationship health. I help people who have experienced trauma in their lives to be able to function with the least amount of impact from that trauma or traumatic experience. I like to provide people with the necessary coping skills they need to be successful in life. Also I help people in the LGBTQ community that are struggling with coming out or finding people that understand what they are going through.
