Lyndsey Kidd

I graduated from Louisiana State University with my Master's Degree in Social Work. I completed two clinical internships one of which was in hospice and the other was in a residential substance abuse treatment center.

My volunteer experience consists of volunteering in my community and working with young mothers and their children in a residential home teaching them various life skills and being a mentor. I also volunteered for a local charity and hosted a fundraiser for stuffed animals to be bought by community citizens and given to the children in the local shelter at Christmas time.

My work experience includes being a hospice social worker, a therapist in a private practice, residential therapist for women, residential therapist for children, and an online therapist provider.

My therapy philosophy consists of utilizing various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, CPT, TF-CBT, Exposure Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and ACT. The type of treatment will be based upon what the client will be presenting with and their diagnoses. I provide evidence-based therapy treatment.
