Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 10 years training and mentoring experience in the public and private sectors, and since 2018, I have worked as a psychotherapist (CBT) and counsellor in London and online.
I have a wealth of experience supporting individual growth and change. I favour the rapid emotional change that cognitive behavioural based therapies bring, however, I also often work integratively, to explore the past and to understand how it makes sense in the present. My focus is positive, lasting emotional, behavioural and mental change.

"Lisa is a great therapist. She is empathic and strongly believes in her therapeutic approach, which is REBT. She is precise, clear, and capably applies REBT techniques and theory while acknowledging other aspects of psychopathology and treatment approaches. She is supportive and non-judgmental. This was particularly important to me, as she helped me through a crisis of my own making."

"My therapist, Lisa Romanova, has been excellent to work with. She is attentive to detail, and creates a clear picture of her points during our discussions. She asks challenging questions that allow me to think and improve on."

"In the few weeks I have been a member, I have already noticed a marked improvement in both my mood and thinking. I have had two different coaches, my first was very good and I still think about her advice from time to time. My second coach’s therapy is based on REBT and I find it more suited to my learning style. I found both coaches to be knowledgeable, empathetic, and experienced by the way they spoke to me and guided me through painful memories or stressful situations. The site is also very helpful and comprehensive. The requirement to write down my thoughts and/or respond to worksheets helps to keep me focused on my personal goals. The website also helps to think through thought distortions on my own — although my second coach has really been wonderful. I am so glad that I found this site."

"It’s clearly giving me things to help and work on, and they aren’t pushy and give you time so you don’t feel pressure. Whenever things go wrong it’s nice to have a thought at the back of my mind that someone is here for me and helping me the best they can."

"I have been able to speak to a few therapists. Think I found the best one for me. She seems wonderful. I think I will know if it’s worth it once I’m no longer needing it. At this point too soon to tell. I like the format and wast of use and low price point. The worksheets seems on point and the overall platform seems extremely well managed."
