I am passionate about my work and I understand the courage it takes to seek support. An important aspect of therapy is learning more about yourself and through increasing your own self-awareness we can collaborate to increase skills and enhance inherent attributes to better problem solve and resolve concerns. My specialty is trauma, addiction and relationships. My approach is exploratory and encouraging. Utilizing a combination of approaches which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Solutions Focused. I strive to create a non-judgmental atmosphere that conveys warmth and empathy while actively listening and providing supportive feedback.
I facilitate a process that allows for personal reflection in which perspectives are examined, thought content, core beliefs and values are identified and effective and adaptive methods of coping and communicating are developed and enhanced. You set the pace and together we prioritize your needs.
