Kyle Bishop

With over 15 years of experience as a licensed therapist, I take a warm and welcoming approach to therapy. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to fostering insight and developing coping strategies that enhance life circumstances. My goal is to provide emotional support and objective guidance, helping clients thrive. I use an eclectic approach to therapy in order to meet the unique needs of every client. I pull from various therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral, person-centered therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. In addition to theoretical models and therapeutic tools, I strongly believe that the strength of the therapeutic relationship, between the client and practitioner, is at the core of the therapeutic process. I hold a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a doctorate from Argosy University, both in counseling psychology. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two children, exploring the outdoors, reading, and biking. I welcome the opportunity to meet you!
