Dr. Kareta Lewin

My name is Dr. Kareta Lewin, a licensed clinical psychotherapist with 10+ years experience. I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their wellness goals. My clinical orientation aligns with cognitive behavioural therapy which helps individuals understand the interrelationship between their thoughts, feeling, and behaviors which impact mental health and well-being. Having an awareness of this triadic relationship, help individuals draw on various coping strategies to engage in healthy self regulation of their emotions. In addition to traditional therapy, I offer biblical based therapy upon request. My scope of practice include treating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and PTSD. My credentials include current certification in trauma focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT), board certified credentialing from the NBCC, and clinical licensure from the Delaware State Licensing Board, USA. When I'm not helping clients, I can be found engaging in self-care activities which range from reading a favorite book, to taking walks along the beach.
