About Me

I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Masters of Science in Counseling, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC). I have over 17 years of experience in counseling, and over 15 years fully licensed as an LPC in the State of Alabama. I have worked mainly with adults in both inpatient, partial, IOP, and outpatient psychiatric hospital settings, private practices, and online. My approach is person centered therapy utilizing mainly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness approaches. I specialize in depression and anxiety disorders while offering empathy, warmth, respect, and unconditional positive regard to each of my clients. I am also a very non-judgmental therapist and want each client to find therapy a safe place to share any thoughts and feelings, and work together with a "team" approach to identifying, and working towards goals. I want the therapeutic process to be done in a collaborative manner that fits each unique, individual client. I find my profession very rewarding, and enjoy seeing hope restored in each individual, and the "spark" come back into one's daily life.
