I received my masters degree in social work from the university of akron and am a licensed independant social worker in Ohio.

I specialize in working with individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bereavement, and substance use disorders. I am also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (emdr) therapy and am experienced in working with adults and adolescents with severe trauma histories. I have worked in both outpatient and residential settings treating women with substance use disorders, community mental health,a forensic psychiatric hospital, a middle school, teletherapy, and private practice settings. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as; Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, solution focused therapy. eye movement Desensitization and reprocessing and mindfulness practice.

I believe that everyone can benefit from mental health therapy and that trauma therapy can help get to the root of many other mental health disorders.
