Australian multicultural Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Educator with over two decades of global experience working with a diverse group of people from all backgrounds and identities. When you come to see me, my goal is to listen to you with compassion, without any judgment, and provide you with practical advice and effective tools that can help you cope and heal.
I am passionate about healing past traumas and discovering possibilities for change. I offer a supportive environment where clients can find solutions to life's many complex problems. I hope to help you understand what your emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and body are trying to communicate to you. You can learn more adaptive ways of understanding and coping with your circumstances.
I have worked with a broad range of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, with a client centred, integrative and solution focused approach to address communication, emotion regulation and behavioural issues, clients who have experienced trauma, whether complex, developmental trauma or the acute experiences that tend to underlie PTSD, depression, anxiety, drug, and alcohol use, relationship issues as well as those living with domestic violence and cancer survivors from stages such as diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, palliative, death and bereavement.
I work extensively with women & men experiencing violence and trauma who have been faced with loss of home and identity, loss of stability in life, children and adults in family breakdowns, survivors and perpetrators of violence and those impacted by the effects of the justice system.
