As a licensed professional counselor, my philosophy centers on creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions and work toward healing. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change, even when life feels overwhelming. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), allowing me to address both present-day challenges and unresolved past trauma.

CBT helps clients recognize and reframe negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. By teaching practical skills like cognitive restructuring, I help clients gain control over their thoughts and emotions, empowering them to navigate everyday challenges.

EMDR, on the other hand, is a powerful tool for processing traumatic memories. Many of my clients have experienced trauma that continues to affect their lives in subtle but significant ways. EMDR helps reprocess these memories so that they no longer carry the same emotional weight, offering relief from distress.

By integrating CBT and EMDR, I provide a holistic approach to therapy, addressing both current struggles and deeper emotional wounds. My goal is to help clients heal, build resilience, and move forward with a renewed sense of hope and strength.
