I am a warm, friendly and compassion focused clinical psychologist with over 10 years experience working with a range of mental health issues. I have a keen interest in working with people struggling with anxiety disorders, stress and parenting. I completed a bachelor of arts in Psychology in 2000, followed by a postgraduate diploma in Psychology and then went on to complete my masters in clinical psychology at curtin university in 2014. When I completed my undergraduate degree I worked for 4 years as a Rehabilitation counsellor. Following the completion of my masters degree I worked for a number of years in a university counselling service working with university students and staff. I also have recent experience working in private practice mainly with adults with anxiety and mood disorders. I adopt an evidence-based and client centred approach to my work. I draw from a number of therapies in my work including Acceptance and Committment Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I have done further professional training in CBT.
