Amanda Williams
,RCTC
I started a career in the Canadian Forces while completing my first degree. I then became a teacher and for the past 10 years, I have been growing as an educator internationally and in Canada. I have learned that as a gentle leader I recognized the need for knowledgeable and dedicated individuals who want to support the mental health of those I work with. Thus leading me to my becoming a therapist.
With my experience working with individuals from all ages, cultures, religions and sexuality, I offer an open minded and safe space for all who chose to work with me. I offer clients a place to become their own guide as we work together, focusing on what matters to them.
I have employed a number of therapeutic strategies in supporting my clients. These include, but are not limited to Narrative Therapy, ACT, Integrated Family Systems, CBT and DBT. I believe therapy is as unique as those who seek support, therefore I approach each case with a fresh lens, to ensure each individual receives the best approach for them.
I am a keen and compassionate person, who hopes help others in their journey of mental well-being.
