This life is just for once… None of us know what is before or beyond it. So, that we have in our hands is this life, the present time or the present moment. I know that you have your own commitments, work pressures, duties and responsibilities to take care of. I know that you have your own dreams and aspirations too. However, have you thought that ultimately what would be the significance and implication of all this, of all your deeds and endeavors? Whatever you are doing, is it sensible and worth? And in the muddle of the stressors and pressures of life… Is there still meaning and purity alive?
Each and every deed of yours defines you; it speaks volumes of the hard work and sincerity that you have. It reflects your goodness and magnanimity of your heart and soul. There is no doubt in it. However, at times you may be shaken off balance or off your track due to the negative forces of sadness, dejections, failures and frustrations, malice and wrong thoughts, illness and agitations. When this happens, it is very difficult to breathe life into life again. It becomes a Herculean task to guide life into the positive track again.
I came across some wonderful life-changing lines whiles reading. Those lines show us the true meaning of life, how it should be lived and what should be our endeavors to build a beautiful world for ourselves and others. So here it goes:
“Promise Yourself
To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel
that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear,
and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world,
not in loud words but great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you.”

Hope you liked the above lines friends! Life is an unknown journey in which we live mindfully and acquire milestones after milestones. We put maximum efforts to maximize our happiness and minimize pains. Sometimes, we are successful in it while at times we fail too. So, when you feel like you are losing the battle of life, do not give up! There is still hope. Remember the words above and keep the Promise.
Live life meaningfully and happily!!!
